Click here toGreat class tonight as always at www.essexfightingarts.weebly.com The leaflets and posters are in Brandon Groves Community Club now so hoping for some more interest in training with us. Also would be awesome to see some of the old faces back now we are at the new venue. :-) Went through some much needed work surrounding pad drills as this is essential when training someone that you are encouraging them to hit straight and true and with power / technique, rather than wayward and random. Also moved through single arm hubud, into single / double arm clench work while working inside your opponents guard. Then 1 for 1 hubud with arm breaks etc and on to 1 four 1, then Doubles 2's, Punyo, 5 for 5 and siko / siko (elbow drills). Got up to a decent pace too and nothing livens you up than having someone aiming an elbow into your face! :-D Lots more to go through next week and hope to see you all there, Ouss... edit.

Welcome to the Essex Fighting Arts Blog. I always try to give an overview for each class with a re-cap of what was taught, terminology & ethos behind the techniques used. As well as any introductions, announcements or fun things that happened during the session. Enjoy! 😉
