Better late than never... :-D Was a great class on Thursday 14th April at www.essexfightingarts.co.uk Ended up me personal training Will but he did miss two weeks so hope this made up for it. Will asked me to go through the Gaja techniques that we did before he went away. So stemming from a jab cross, defending with a dakup, outside deflection/entry into upper cut. Then moving through throws, locks, figure 4 work, neck wrenches etc... From here we improvised and I showed other techniques from the same entry so more panantukan with more brutal techniques working through a much more finely tuned approach to each one as in a bigger class it's easy to miss some of the transitional moves and footwork. Was a good class and I'll see you all back this Thursday, Ouss...

Welcome to the Essex Fighting Arts Blog. I always try to give an overview for each class with a re-cap of what was taught, terminology & ethos behind the techniques used. As well as any introductions, announcements or fun things that happened during the session. Enjoy! 😉
