Brilliant class tonight at Essex Fighting Arts. Padwork was nothing but commitment by all, although will be watching those press ups between as there was still a great deal of fresh air between your chest and the ground on some of you. ;-) Panantukan was a good idea to get back into as it has been a while. Working on the rear hand with various entries and take downs ranging from Linakun/Puta Kapala, figure 4 locks and take downs, Wallis and some throws. Hope it helps blending in different aspects of other techniques such as the Wallis as it fits so well. Also with Wing Chun such as passing/not passing the centre line and either using Loy Pac Sau Da into throat strike or Bui Gee, hammer the bicep and face and figure 4 take down on the other side. Hope you all enjoyed, have a great weekend and see you next week. Ouss...

Welcome to the Essex Fighting Arts Blog. I always try to give an overview for each class with a re-cap of what was taught, terminology & ethos behind the techniques used. As well as any introductions, announcements or fun things that happened during the session. Enjoy! 😉
